We Are OFK is a new interactive series about a digital pop team

One of the most appealing musical performances at this year’s Activity Awards was from an unfamiliar pop group called OFK. The twist? Not only is it a digital team, but future yr they’ll star in a new sport.

The functionality was the first expose of We Are OFK, an interactive collection that’s slated to debut following yr. It seems form of like a documentary sequence, apart from for a fictional band, with a premise which is a mix between the Gorillaz, K/DA from League of Legends, and Sayonara Wild Hearts.

Here’s the description:

We Are OFK’s visuals, interactivity, and songs inform a story of the innovative system of audio producing, and all the shit that gets in the way. The virtual band will debut a new one in each episode, with an accompanying interactive songs online video. Find oneself immersed into the life of 4 twenty-somethings: what it’s like to make art with your buddies, the joys of producing, the frustrations of collaboration, and all the strategies that hoping to just stay your daily life clashes with hoping to do the get the job done.

No platforms have been introduced but, but the collection is being created by a new studio referred to as Palmtree Workforce and headed by Hyper Mild Drifter co-designer Teddy Dief. It is expected to debut in spring 2021.
