John. R. Tyson, the chief economic officer of Tyson Foods and terrific-grandson of the company’s founder, entered a plea of not responsible to rates of public intoxication and criminal trespassing. 

His trial is set for Feb. 15, in accordance to an formal at the Fayette District Court who requested not be named simply because they are not authorized to speak publicly.

The CFO was arrested in November immediately after being identified asleep in a home that was not his possess in northwestern Arkansas. The arrest came about a month following he was named CFO of the top US meat corporation. He instructed colleagues and buyers that he was humiliated.

In a statement Thursday, the firm explained it and a committee of board administrators separately reviewed the incident. 

“The Board supports Mr. Tyson and has continued confidence in his potential to lead Tyson Foods as CFO,” the statement mentioned.

The business has been under stress from soaring inflation that brought on some shoppers to scale back buys of beef and poultry.
