Two Tuscaloosa organizations recognized for statewide small organization awards

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – Coronavirus affected countless numbers of enterprises statewide in Alabama, but in Tuscaloosa, a number of had been regarded for what they were being able to carry out even with the pandemic.

Two Tuscaloosa enterprises recognized for statewide compact organization awards

Chuck’s Fish and 5 and JNJ Clothing gained Compact Business enterprise of the Year awards. The Small business Council of Alabama and the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama held the yearly Small Enterprise of the Year awards before this thirty day period.

Chuck’s Fish and Five gained the gold award for businesses with 51 to 100 staff members. JNJ Apparel won the Silver Award for businesses with 11 to 50 employees. JNJ sells equipment for fraternities and sororities together with custom organization and apparel drawn by skilled artists.

Soon after the pandemic began, the firm shifted to a shop local marketing campaign with garments intended to acknowledge some of the Tuscaloosa-location businesses hurt by the pandemic.

“I know each of those people smaller small business entrepreneurs and I’m not shocked. They’ve constantly been keen to give back to this group. They see their organizations as a lot more than just making a gain. They see it as a way to construct and invest into Tuscaloosa,” Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox told WBRC.

Two other Tuscaloosa space enterprises – Session Bar and Try to eat My Beats, which sells tunes products and instruments – had been named finalists in their respective classes.
