Christmas in Connecticut

Barbara Stanwyck is one particular of my beloved actresses.  She could play anything at all: Wide comedy, passionate comedy, sophisticated comedy, domestic dramas, soapy tales, thrillers and vivid femme fatales.  Noted for her relentless work ethic and affable mother nature on set, in particular to the crew, in 1944 she was the best compensated female in The united states.

Even although she does not enjoy him, she’s desperate, so she agrees.

Then of training course there is Ms. Stanwyck, who shines shiny in anything she does. She can make all the things believable, however peaceful and glamorous. A lady who was an orphan who labored her way to the top, and charmed tens of millions on the way. One particular of a sort. She’s terrific.
