NASHVILLE, Tennessee — The Highwomen received a few awards, such as album, track and duo/team of the year, at the Americana Honors and Awards. The late John Prine was given artist of the year honors.

The Americana Songs Affiliation declared the winners online on Tuesday this calendar year immediately after their awards display, typically held in Nashville, Tennessee, was cancelled mainly because of the pandemic.
