GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – An case in point of society culture or did a community food stuff blogger take a joke far too far?
A Publix Sub is at the center of a social media blitz that ended with a blogger suspending his web site. Ken Peng, of Ken Eats Gainesville, states he been given a social media backlash to a photo he posted and it has compelled him to pause his writing.
The picture showed a receipt from his on the web purchase of a Publix Sub. In the unique instructions, he utilized sexual innuendo to explain the sandwich and it drew main criticism on Instagram and Reddit – with one Reddit person declaring, “let’s get rid” of Peng.

On his website, Peng noted that he normally jokes in the notes portion, but that this joke skipped the mark.
“Thank you to all the men and women who have attained out to provide their assist,” Peng claimed in a statement he sent to Television20. “I have often tried using to do appropriate by the places to eat I evaluation. Never have I at any time demanded cost-free meals, mistreated any wait around employees, or do anything at all but share my belief. Peng made available to apologize to the deli employee who built the sub, and states he’s now staying characterized as a great deal worse than a person who made an inappropriate joke.
