Sir Ringo Starr has teamed up with his Beatles bandmate Sir Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow, Dave Grohl and a lot more on his approaching EP, ‘Zoom In’.
The ‘Let It Be’ group’s previous drummer has unveiled the track-listing for his future star-studded five-keep track of selection and unveiled the direct one, ‘Here’s To The Nights’, which was co-written by songwriter to the stars Diane Warren.
The All Star EP also features guest vocals from the likes of FINNEAS, Lenny Kravitz, Jenny Lewis, Chris Stapleton and Corinne Bailey Rae.
Ringo explained: “When Diane presented this track to me I cherished the sentiment of it. This is the form of track we all want to sing alongside to, and it was so terrific how many excellent musicians joined in. I needed it out in time for New Many years mainly because it feels like a fantastic music to conclusion a tough 12 months on. So here’s to the nights we won’t try to remember and the good friends we will not overlook – and I am wishing everyone peace and like for 2021.”
The EP was recorded at the 80-calendar year-outdated sticksman’s home studio between April and October 2020.
Set for launch on March 19, 2021, ‘Zoom In’ follows Ringo’s 2019 solo album ‘What’s My Name’.
In July, Ringo was joined by McCartney, Sheryl and a lot more for a particular are living-stream concert to mark his 80th birthday.
