Tracy Roy, correct, will take the oath of business for Lewiston finance director June 2 from Metropolis Clerk Kathy Montejo.
LEWISTON — Tracy Roy was sworn in June 2 as Lewiston finance director.
Roy most not too long ago served as finance director and treasurer for Augusta since Oct 2020. Just before that she was Augusta’s deputy finance director, treasurer and tax collector from 2013-20 York’s finance director from 2011-13 Auburn’s finance director from 2009-11 South Portland ‘s controller from 2003-09 and an accountant for South Portland from 2001-03.
“Tracy has a prosperity of municipal finance experience, which include her new put up at the town of Augusta. She is a Lewiston native and returning home,” Lewiston Metropolis Administrator Heather Hunter claimed.
“We are happy to have Tracy on board, and I’m thrilled for the town of Lewiston,” Mayor Carl L. Sheline claimed.
Roy has a Bachelor of Science degree in business enterprise accounting from the College of Maine of Augusta, is a board member of the Maine Authorities Finance Officers Association, and has continued her professional instruction through the Kennebec Leadership Institute and the Govt Finance Officers Affiliation.
“I am energized to start this new obstacle and to be performing with the Lewiston workforce,” Roy stated.
