A cockroach has been named immediately after Keith Richards in honour of his 77th birthday.
The Rolling Stones rocker marked his 77th birthday on December 18 and to commemorate the day, the Children’s Museum have decided to title a Madagascar hissing cockroach just after Keith.
The Connecticut museum – which is only 60 or so miles from Keith’s residence – has even presented the new rock insect his very individual miniature guitar, courtesy of Denver-based, 103.5 The Fox.
Creating on Facebook, the museum shared: “Many thanks to our friends at 103.5 The Fox, who are celebrating Keith Richards birthday these days, we now have a unique resident of The Wildlife Sanctuary. Meet Keith the Cockroach, named soon after Mr. Richards. It has been explained that two issues are known to have great survival prices, Keith Richards and cockroaches. You can take a look at Keith (the cockroach) at The Children’s Museum. We’re hoping to hear from his namesake!”
Meanwhile, Keith beforehand insisted his existence has been “pretty remarkable” so considerably.
