John Lennon has been honoured on the 40th anniversary of his demise.
The music icon was remembered by sons Julian and Sean as perfectly as his former Beatles bandmates Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Ringo Starr on Tuesday (08.12.20), which marked 4 a long time given that he was murdered in New York Metropolis.
In a heartfelt Twitter write-up, Paul wrote: “A sad, unhappy working day, but remembering my friend John with the great joy he brought to the entire world.”
Together with an old photograph of the pair taken by his late wife Linda, McCartney included: “I will generally be very pleased and happy to have known and worked with this remarkable Scouser! X enjoy, Paul.”
Ringo identified as on radio stations to enjoy Beatles strike ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ as he paid tribute to John.
The drummer wrote on Twitter: “Tuesday, 8 December 1980 we all had to say goodbye to John. Peace and like John. I’m asking Each individual music radio station in the planet someday play ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’. Peace and appreciate. (sic)”
The rockstar’s eldest son Julian posted a photo of his father on Twitter, which was only captioned: “As Time Goes By…”
And Sean shared an Instagram snap of himself alongside with his father, Julian and his mom Yoko Ono.
Meanwhile, Paul not too long ago exposed that he continue to finds it “complicated” to talk about John’s dying and uncertainties he will at any time get over his buddy currently being the target of this sort of a “senseless” act.
