FinMin stresses non-public sector cooperation to minimise COVID impact
KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 30
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has mentioned that the private sector can participate in a substantial part in minimising the effect of the COVID-19 on the country’s financial system.
Addressing the 23rd anniversary of the Modern society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) nowadays, Minister Paudel urged the personal sector to cooperate with the govt to overcome the troubles produced by the pandemic.
“Even while the authorities is in the frontline in the battle towards the coronavirus the personal sector as well requires to assist the authorities to sustain our economic system,” he said. “There is a need to target on escalating financial commitment, generation and jobs in the state.”
In the meantime, speaking during the function, Shekhar Golchha, president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Business (FNCCI), mentioned that the federal government needs to apply a exclusive programme to carry the financial state that has been ravaged by the pandemic.
