Eminem delivers new spherical of ‘Music to Be Murdered By’ on shock album

Eminem performs "Lose Yourself" during the 92nd Academy Awards at Dolby Theatre Feb. 9, 2020.

Eminem is wrapping up 2020 the exact same way he started off it — gifting fans with a midnight shock.

“Music to Be Murdered By – Facet B (Deluxe Edition)” landed early Friday early morning, providing a 16-monitor bookend to January’s “Music to Be Murdered By.”

It marks the second-shortest hole between studio albums in Eminem’s job, bested only by the eight-thirty day period turnaround of “Revival” and “Kamikaze” in 2017-2018.

Attendees on the new album include go-to Eminem collaborators Skylar Grey and Dr. Dre, together with Ty Dolla Sign and Dallas rapper MAJ.

Like the January launch, the new album draws inspiration from 1958’s “Alfred Hitchcock Offers: Tunes to Be Murdered By,” which highlighted macabre readings by the late grasp of suspense. “Alfred’s Theme” finds Eminem, who turned 48 in October, rhyming atop the distinctive theme tune to the classic Television series “Alfred Hitchcock Provides.”

The midnight release followed a flurry of on the internet speculation and social-media clues this week — signs that anything was coming down the pike from the veteran Detroit rapper.
