CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski ‘heartbroken’ following death of 9-month-old daughter

CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski and his spouse, Wall Street Journal reporter Rachel Louise Ensign, are mourning the loss of their 9-month outdated daughter, Francesca.

She died on Christmas Eve, Kaczynski reported in a tweet, just after a months-prolonged fight with most cancers.

“We’re heartbroken to have to announce our gorgeous daughter Francesca handed absent last evening in the arms of her mother and dad,” he tweeted. “There will usually be a Bean-sized gap in our hearts for her. We’re so grateful to have identified her adore. Francesca we adore you.”

In September, Kaczynski introduced their little one had been diagnosed with an “extremely exceptional and extremely aggressive rhabdoid brain tumor.”

In the months that adopted, he continued to update enthusiasts and followers on his daughter’s issue. She had brain medical procedures and in new months, a fungal an infection that stemmed from a complication with her chemotherapy. She had to be set on a ventilator and existence assistance.

On Christmas Eve, Kaczynski tweeted asking for prayers and “hope for a Xmas miracle” for his spouse and children.

In an obituary for his late kid posted Friday, Kaczynski wrote that in her “short everyday living, Francesca was an outgoing, daring and curious toddler.”

“A Brooklyn-primarily based Sesame Street fan, Francesca liked taking prolonged walks around New York City and Boston, taking part in with her toys and balloons, attending speech treatment, and ‘petting’ (i.e. grabbing) her cat Ryland,” he wrote, in portion.
