Chris Cornell’s Remaining Studio Album Capabilities Handles of John Lennon, Prince, Guns N’ Roses & Much more

The surprise final studio album from Chris Cornell, No A person Sings Like You Anymore, dropped on Friday (Dec. 11) showcasing addresses of tracks by John Lennon, Prince, Janis Joplin, Electrical Mild Orchestra and Guns N’ Roses. In accordance to a release, Cornell hand-picked and sequenced the collection as a celebration of the artists and music that impressed him.

The collection was recorded in 2016 and it represents the late Soundgarden singer’s very last fully done studio album, with runs by Lennon’s “Looking at the Wheels,” Ghostland Observatory’s “Sad Unhappy City,” Harry Nilsson’s “Jump Into The Fire,” Carl Hall’s “You Never Know Nothing About Adore,” ELO’s “Showdown,” Terry Reid’s “To Be Handled Rite”, Lorraine Ellison’s “Stay With Me Little one,” and his iconic deal with of the Prince-prepared “Absolutely nothing Compares 2 You.”

“This album is so specific due to the fact it is a complete do the job of artwork that Chris designed from start out to end,” reported wife Vicky Cornell in a statement. “His selection of addresses presents a personalized look into his beloved artists and the songs that touched him.
