Cardi B reacts to Johns Hopkins’ COVID-19 ‘WAP’ parody: ‘Sksksksk’

Rapper Cardi B responded to Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of General public Overall health right after it launched a COVID-19 parody of her hit tune “WAP.”

The movie displays numerous pupils singing while donning masks, modifying the lyrics of the song showcasing rapper Megan Thee Stallion into a message about coronavirus protection.

“I explained harmless and stylish/ Seven times a 7 days/ Put on a mask be sure to/ Make the COVID curve weak” go the re-labored lyrics.

The Johns Hopkins mascot can also be viewed dancing with students in protecting gear, imitating some of the new music video’s now viral dance moves.

The video instructs viewers on proper mask-putting on protocol.

“Rock the science with a pose/ With the mask correct on your deal with/ So it addresses your mouth and nose,” a pupil raps.

When posted, the online video commenced to circulate on social media, drawing the interest of the rapper herself.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, shared the video clip to her Twitter feed on Saturday together with the caption “Sksksksk,” an internet slang expression exhibiting amusement or excitement.

“The pie-in-the-sky hope for the online video, all along, was like, ‘What if Cardi B retweeted it?'” Nick Moran, associate director for viewers engagement at the Bloomberg School who created the online video, explained to The Baltimore Sunshine.

California Surgeon Basic Nadine Burke Harris also promoted the movie on Twitter, praising the college students for their general public overall health endeavours.
