I have generally struggled with mission and eyesight statements, and for some cause, they have been caught in my brain lately. I am likely to use this place to wrestle with some of my contemplating.

A mission statement is fundamentally how we will get someplace, and the corresponding eyesight statement is that somewhere an business wants to go. Equally are crucial, but I sense a little something is lacking if we concentration just on these two factors.

Below is the mission and vision assertion for Southwest Airways:

 


 

Mission statement:

Eyesight statement:

I have thought about that a large amount in the context of university districts.
